Everydays — A Solo Exhibition by Alimo

Haleiwa, Hawaii — Greenroom Gallery Hawaii is pleased to announce Everydays, a solo exhibition by American artist Alimo, opening Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Greenroom Gallery Haleiwa. This exhibition marks Alimo's first solo show in Hawaii and debuts a new series of drawings and paintings shaped by the artist's memories and lived experiences on the island. As its title suggests, Everydays invites visitors into a narrative journey that reflects the daily rhythms and moments the artist observed in Hawaii—specifically people and their everyday lives at the beach. Through intimate observation, Alimo captures the sense of community and connection that naturally forms around the ocean.

Japanuary
Nifty Gateway, 2024
Japanuary is a visual diary born from years of winter snowboard trips to Japan. Each piece in the collection captures the textures and quiet moments that define a Japanese winter: powder clouds at sunrise, steaming ramen after a long run, a vending machine glowing against the snow, a village tucked into the mountains. The work pulls from Japanese art and design traditions and filters them through a skateboarder's eye, flat shapes, bold color, and scenes that feel lived-in rather than posed. The collection dropped as 1/1 digital editions on Nifty Gateway in 2024. The 1/1s are sold, but open-edition prints are available for those who want to bring the series home.
Solitude Safari

This show is a collection of memories and everyday scenes throughout my time in NYC. Subject matter that I've captured in my sketchbook or photographed now brought to life on canvas. It's about places I've seen or moments I've experienced while roaming around. Mostly alone, but other times with friends and family documenting my surroundings on location. I invite viewers to think about life in New York City—its chaos and tranquility within its urban landscape and how we live in both worlds together. Through my art, I want to transport you to these spaces, inviting you to find your own moments of solace within the chaos.
